• Pantomime - Wizard of Oz

  As a special Christmas treat, we organised for all of the children at Normandy School to sit and watch the pantomime 'Wizard of Oz'. The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance and it was lovely to see all of the children laughing, smiling and having fun!

• KS1 Nativity 'Lights, Camel, Action!'

  We invited the parents of our Year 1 and 2 pupils along to see their nativity 'Lights, Camel, Action!' The Bethlehem Broadcasting Company were on hand to record a dazzling dance show to celebrate the special occasion of Jesus' birth. Personalities such as the funky camels and a disco star came together to dance styles ranging from tango to line dancing with the judges scoring them and the audience cheering for their winner. Well done children, you were all superstars!

   

  During these performances, we collected a fantastic £111.68 for the Bexley Community Hospice. Thank you.

  

• EYFS Nativity 'Hey Ewe!'

  Our Nursery and Reception children took part in their nativity 'Hey Ewe!'. The story was about a flock of sheep with a very inquisitive ewe who was always busy getting under the shepherds' feet, asking questions and demanding to know what was going on. One night, while all the other sheep were trying to sleep, some extraordinary events unfolded that excited her curiosity more than ever before! Well done to all of the children who performed their lines loudly and with enthusiasm.

  

• Christmas Music Concert

  Our school choir performed a variety of Christmas songs to a large audience of parents and carers. The choir sang beautifully and the whole audience, including our choir teachers and Mr Clements (Chair of Governors) were extremely impressed.

  

• Christmas Jumper Day

  Pupils were invited to come to school dressed in a Christmas jumper or decorate their uniform to raise money for Save the Children charity. Thank you to all of the children who took part. We raised a super £318.93. Thank you for your continued support.

• School Choir - Bexleyheath for Demelza

  Our choir went along to Bexleyheath Town Centre to sing carols and raise money for Demelza. They sang with enthusiasm and helped to raise a fantastic amount for the Demelza charity. Well done children!

  

• Christmas Lunch

  Our wonderful catering staff, Independent Catering, served up a delicious Christmas lunch for all of the pupils who wished to have it. Children listened to Christmas songs whilst eating and enjoyed pulling crackers and wearing bright Christmas hats. They really got into the spirit! It was delightful to see so many children enjoying the wonderful atmosphere. Thank you to our catering staff for such a lovely lunch experience.

  

• School Choir - Fossett Lodge

  Some of our choir members went along to Fossett Lodge Residential Home to sing Christmas carols to the residents. They had a wonderful morning and the residents were enthralled by the super singing and marvellous melodies.
