How are Rainbows formed? - Year 6

Pupils in Year 6 have been considering how rainbows are formed. The children were asked if they could attempt to recreate this phenomena using different transparent resources, such as glass prisms, magnifying glasses and coloured plastic.

Archie said "It was magnificent to make our own rainbow."

Artemij commented "I enjoyed it because it helped me to learn how rainbows are formed and how spectrums look."

Isla said "It was a great experience as I didn't know how light refracting would work. It was great to see how light reacts to things."

Annie said "I had fun learning about this. It was enjoyable and interesting."
