Create patterns using numbers.

 

• Start with 121212 - ask your child to say the pattern. Repeat with different numbers e.g. 343434, 565656, 131313, 242424.
• Try making patterns using 3 numbers e.g. 123123123, 112112112.

 

Children will love making up their own number patterns and these are great for practising their number formations.

 

You can also do this with letters as well e.g. abababab, cdcdcdcd, abcabcabc, azazazaz.
